Welcome to Rockport Mobility. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to all use of our website at rockportmobility.co.uk and to all orders placed with us. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Our Products

We sell, service, and repair mobility scooters, powerchairs, and mobility aids and accessories. We take care to describe and picture our products accurately, but slight variations in colour, specification, or packaging may occur, and manufacturers may update models without notice.

3. Prices & VAT

All prices are shown in GBP. Where applicable, VAT is included in the displayed price.

If you have a long-term illness or disability, you may be eligible for VAT relief on qualifying mobility products under UK VAT law. If eligible, you can complete a VAT exemption declaration at checkout or by contacting us, and VAT will be removed from your order total. It is your responsibility to ensure the declaration is accurate; HMRC may pursue undeclared VAT from customers who make an invalid claim.

4. Placing an Order

When you place an order, you’re making an offer to purchase, which we accept once we confirm your order. A contract is formed at that point. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order, for example due to stock issues or pricing errors, in which case we’ll notify you and refund any payment taken.

5. Payment & Finance

We accept payment by the methods shown at checkout, including major debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Klarna.

We also work with Ideal Sales Solutions Ltd (trading as Ideal4Finance) to introduce customers to finance options. Rock Port Trading Ltd is an Introducer Appointed Representative of Ideal Sales Solutions Ltd, which is a credit broker, not a lender (FRN 703401). Finance is subject to status, and rates offered are provisional, depending on your personal circumstances, loan amount, and term.

6. Delivery

Delivery is carried out in line with our Shipping Policy. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our control.

7. Your Right to Cancel & Returns

You have a 30-day right to change your mind on most orders, as set out in our Return and Refund Policy, which includes details of the standardised collection charges that apply to larger items. This is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8. Warranty

Unless stated otherwise on the product page, our mobility scooters and powerchairs come with a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects, in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, normal wear and tear (e.g. tyres, batteries losing capacity over time), or unauthorised repairs. 9. Servicing & Repairs

We offer servicing and repair services for mobility scooters, whether purchased from us or elsewhere. Charges for servicing and repairs outside of warranty will be confirmed with you before work begins.

10. Home Demonstrations

Where available, we offer free home demonstrations. These are provided at our discretion and may be subject to availability in your area.

11. Insurance

We can introduce you to mobility scooter insurance options. We are not an insurer, and any policy taken out is subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant insurance provider.

12. Our Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law. Subject to this, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of our products or website.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, and logos, belongs to Rock Port Trading Ltd or our licensors and may not be used without permission.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
